Fall 2026 Move-In
At Notre Dame, we strive to facilitate as smooth, safe, and efficient a move-in experience as possible. To do so, the Office of Residential Life relies on the cooperation and collaboration of numerous different departments, programs, university staff members, students, and parents.
Please read the following pages carefully, as they contain important information for students and parents regarding Fall Move-In. Students should plan to adhere to all Move-In policies, procedures, and timelines as communicated by the Office of Residential Life, Rectors, and Hall Staff. Doing so allows our staff to manage traffic, ensure rooms and residence halls are prepared for your arrival, and facilitate a safe and welcoming move-in experience for students and parents.
We appreciate your patience as Residential Life works to finalize plans for Fall 2026 Move-In. Below are anticipated dates and times for Fall 2026 move-in; they are subject to change based on the University calendar and Welcome Weekend experience.
